The resort of the LBN Duisburg
At the LBN Duisburg you will find an oasis of sports and recreation on 150,000 square meters club owned forest in the woods south of the Sechs-Seen-Platte for living a life in the great outdoors in natural nudity with sports and games. We generate most of our electricity from our own photovoltaic system.
Besides several well-kept sports facilities, the grounds also include a natural swimming lake with a sandy beach, a sauna park, a club house with a sun terrace and a campsite. The common sanitary facilities are complemented by a disabled toilet, baby changing facilities, a washing machine and a dryer. We also have a lot of recreational activities for kids, like the big playground, an XXL-trampoline-construction, a water slide and a paddling pool. For the adolescents there is a centre with a youth room, a BBQ area and a football ground.
The natural swimming lake
Ca. 2.300 sqm expense of water, 50 m white sandy beach, a secured beach for kids, a broad terrace of real wood and a large swimming island in the middle – our natural lake has lots to offer. Large sunbathing areas and shady spots near the woods offer the opportunity to rest and relax. A colourful biotope and a sputtering watercourse across the „Teufelsberg“ provide regeneration – not only for the water.
The sauna
For ideal relexation we have our own sauna facilities at the resort. There is room for ca. 60 visitors in two different saunas with two relaxation rooms and a gym. Individual “Aufguss”-events can be celebrated in the Finnish blockhouse sauna. The huge picture window provides a magnific view of the lake. The biosauna made of Kelo-wood features a therapeutic light- and soundsystem and can also be used as a saunarium.
